SAP Signavio: Process Intelligence, Mining, and the Model That Operations Will Own
- SAP Signavio
- Process mining
- Process intelligence
- BPMN
- Transformation

SAP Signavio is process management and intelligence: Process Manager (BPMN), Process Intelligence (mining), Journey Modeler, and collaboration. It is how transformation programs claim they “know the as-is.” Most installations produce beautiful maps nobody runs. Mining without a process owner is a dashboard. Modeling without an event log is fiction.
The unique challenge is the loop: mine, model, change the system, mine again. If Signavio is a project deliverable, it dies at go-live. SR Soft staffs Signavio with a process owner and the S/4 or Ariba analyst who will change the process, not with a modeler who only draws.
The challenges that actually break the program
- Hundreds of BPMN files and no owner
- Mining on dirty event logs that invent variants
- No connection from a variant to a backlog item
- Signavio sold as a substitute for talking to operations
- Licenses that outlast the transformation office
How SR Soft LLC staffs and delivers it
We pick three processes — P2P, OTC, RTR or hire-to-retire — and we mine, model, and change those. We require a backlog link for every “should-be.” We do not staff a wallpaper factory.
- 01
Three processes
Not the entire company map.
- 02
Owner
A named operator, not PMO.
- 03
Backlog
Every should-be has a ticket.
- 04
Remine
Proof after the change.
